Backpack meals exists to bring the community together to stop hunger in Starkville. Many students rely on the school system for meals and have to save food to ration over the weekends. Backpack Meals works with the Starkville School District to provide students 4 nutritious meals per weekend.

How to Get Involved

Pray with us

  • Pray for our grade school students, who feel the unneeded burden of finding and saving food.

  • Pray for the hearts and lives to change 

​

  • Pray for the team and volunteers preparing, packing, distributing the food

Serve with us

  • Volunteer to help pack the meals

​

  • Work with fundraising

​

  • Assist with Family Food Pantry

​

  • Help move meals to schools
